"You won't have a better location, right in the Gion district, a few blocks from practically everything in the area, close to both train and bus stations, the attention of the staff was excellent, very friendly, and the rooms, although they are very small like almost all in Japan, very comfortable and with a good rest."

gion gem, was pretty good!

great location clean rooms strong ac easy check-in

the location cannot be beat! the hotel is steps away from amazing sights, bustling shops, and countless dining options. i really liked the strong air conditioning and how clean the rooms were. also, check-in was super smooth and easy!

the bathroom was a little cramped.

the location is convenient near major attractions. the japanese-style breakfast buffet had a diverse selection of items. i appreciated the variety and quality of the food offered! the room was also spacious.

perfect location bus stop tv ad hotel lounge

I REALLY liked the location. It is perfect for getting around bus stops are out front. The subway is only 3 blocks away. Starbucks right below was super convenient.

The tv automatically turns on when you come back to the room. It plays ads you have to listen to until you find the remote. I DIDN'T like that. There is no hotel lounge with enough chairs OR a setup for relaxation.
